Monashee Partners brings together Chris and Michelle Finn — a husband and wife team whose complementary practices have been operating independently for years. Formalizing under a shared brand reflects what was already true in practice: a combined capability spanning PE-backed value creation, M&A integration, technology strategy, and finance function leadership, delivered by operators who have done it from the inside.
The firm takes its name from the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia — terrain that rewards preparation, demands experience, and offers a different perspective from the summit. That's the role we aim to play for our clients.
Chris has built, restructured, and scaled businesses across the full PE lifecycle — as an operator and as an advisor. As COO of Telarix, he led the transformation to a SaaS recurring revenue model through a successful exit to Vista Equity Partners. At Unify, he led pre-transaction restructuring and post-merger integration of a global professional services organization, delivering a 40% cost reduction ahead of its acquisition by Atos. His current work spans operating model design, technology strategy, product development, and transaction support — including integration planning with identified synergy capture, and investor and board-level business case development for PE-backed and mid-market businesses.

Across nearly a decade of fractional and embedded engagements, she has built finance functions from scratch, managed HR and people operations, implemented systems, and served as the operational backbone for early-stage and growth-stage companies that need experienced execution without the overhead of a full-time hire.
