How soon can an engagement start?
Typical sequence is first conversation within a week, a one-page engagement summary within 3–5 business days if it's a fit, and engagement start within 5–10 business days of acceptance. First conversation to kickoff is roughly two to three weeks.
What happens when scope changes mid-engagement?
Scope changes are priced separately as additive modifications — never absorbed into the original fee. We state the added scope, the incremental price, and the timeline impact in writing. You approve before work begins.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Primarily remote with on-site presence when the engagement benefits from it — integration work, diligence, kickoffs, or executive offsites. Based in Richmond, Virginia, with clients across the US.
Who is Monashee not a fit for?
Pre-revenue startups (not enough substance to engage a senior operator responsibly). Companies looking for purely analytical work without execution ownership. Situations requiring regulated tax, audit, or legal advice (those require licensed specialists, which we coordinate with but don't provide).
